Lipstick Chick January Challenge: the Resolutions get Scrapped

Whhaaaaat? Giving up on them already? Nah… quite the opposite, in fact. I want to achieve all of them, and somehow immortalising and officialising the words on a scrapbook page makes me more inclined to work towards the goals I’ve set for myself.

Check out the amazing red flock overlay – wow, I didn’t want to use it, but an unspoken resolution of mine (actually from way before New Year) is to not hoard, not be sentimental about scraps, and to be ruthless in using up remnants and newbies alike. So it made its way onto my page – and I’m glad it did.

As always, there is some totally stunning work, ripe for lifting, on the True XOXO Girls scraplift challenge blog, so go check it out!

  1. I couldn't agree with you more - I write things down all the time, something about seeing them in print makes them all the more real for me. ooooh and just loving this layout - you put so much of yourself into each project, it's fabulous.
