Card Season
I've just completed a rather large project - putting together a collection of handmade cards for my mother-in-law's birthday (which she was very happy with!). The challenge was always to design a card that looks good but is very simple to make - I was making three or five of each design, and wanted to work quickly. Here are the final cards I added to the collection.

Really lovely set of cards. The poppy one is gorgeous, did you colour it in? Glad your MIL liked them. I love the teapot one as well.
ReplyDeleteI really love the poppy one too :) I'd love to know how you did it.
ReplyDeleteooh thanks! The poppy one was an Artemio set, and I used different shades of green to give the depth. Then I stamped, powdered and heat embossed the red flowers - thankfully it was thick enough that the green stems didn't show through. Then another little stamp, powder and heat emboss for the black centre. x
