Something's Bugging Me

In the search for a clever headline, I've actually stumbled upon something true... but I'm not going to talk about that now. Let's save that for a quiet day...and move on from the cryptic introduction.

Although there's been a delay in the launch of the True XOXO Girls March challenge, I can't wait any longer to show you my page for the DT... it was pretty much the fastest page I've ever done, from the capture of the photos to the finished article (two days, it was). And it's been sitting there on the fireplace ever since, brightening up the room.

On Sunday 13 February Brussels held its fourth annual Love Bug Parade. Everyone who owns an old VW Beetle (and some who own a new one, too) gathered together in our local park and showed off their cars for the morning. In the afternoon they went touring around the city in procession.

I made the flowers myself, just by rolling some cardstock up tight, letting it release a little, and then sticking it down hard.

And for a parade I had to, of course, include bunting.

I'll update with details of the challenge and its prize when it goes live. In the meantime, I've more things to finish off for the market on Sunday!

  1. It's such a fresh and cheerful layout - I don't think I'd be able to put this one in an album straight away either!
